“Then little children were brought to Jesus for him to place his hands on them and pray for them. But the disciples rebuked those who brought them. Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” When he had placed his hands on them, he went on from there.”
Matthew 19:13-15
Praise the Lord! We kicked of our 2010 spring semester of ministry. Each child that comes to the CAC is so precious. We were so excited to see them and for the children to come and experience the power of God. When children come in on Saturday’s they are able to worship God, hear His Word, and be prayed for. Apart from God we can do nothing for these children. Apart from God their lives will not be changed. That is why we rely fully on Him and to be lead of the Holy Spirit. That is our desire, so we sow towards that and we know God will be glorified. He is so good. We had a taste of it this the past weeks. The children were ministered the Word of God and then were given the opportunity to be prayed for individually. We had staff, interns, and several volunteers pray for the children. Jesus said to let the children come to Him and he placed his hand on them. And we were able to do just that. God is bringing the children to us so we must be aware of what He is doing in their lives. The children have specific prayer needs, specific things they desire others to believe with them. This is truly an honor to pray in faith over and with these children and see God change their situations to good, that He may be glorified. Thank you Jesus! Jessica Bouchard.
