We are so blessed to know so many precious children. This Saturday I was reminded again of how wonderful it is that God has brought many people to be a part of the children’s lives; not just staff but volunteers as well. Each Saturday the children get the opportunity to be loved on by not only staff, but wonderful volunteers who give their Saturdays to minister to children. It is such a blessing to the children. I love to watch them get hugs, validations (that is so needed), and fellowship from many people who love Jesus and love them. We appreciate our volunteers a lot. They are a blessing from God. They serve by singing with the children, playing with the children, riding the bus with the children, praying for the children, being in skits, and cleaning. Just one touch and/or one word can change a child’s life. Praise the Lord! Our volunteers range from high school age to people over 45 years of age. Thank you Lord! It has been wonderful to see how some have made a special bond with several children. It makes a huge difference in someone’s life to know they are not alone and that someone loves them. Some people will not know the good they have done through God to further His Kingdom, until they get to heaven. Thank you Lord for willing hearts!
